Debit Card
A Debit Card is also known as a Bank Card. A debit cards primary use is an alternative payment method than paying by cheque or with cash. A debit card can be used at ATMS, in Banks and to purchase items ‘over the counter’ in retail outlets. When a purchase is made with a debit card, the funds are simultaneously withdrawn from you bank account of which the debit card is registered. Debit cards are typically used to pay for services and products online or over the phone for means of convenience.
